Meet Schedule
We will have a Time Trials Swim Meet and Team Pictures on Tuesday, June 6th, weather permitting. Time Trials are an inter club meet to help everyone (swimmers and parents) become comfortable with Swim Meet Procedures and Volunteer Responsibilities prior to the first TSA (Tarheel Swimming Association) dual meet.
Every family should make it a priority to attend Time Trials. Time trials do not count towards the 3 meet volunteer requirement.
The first official dual meet of the season will be Tuesday, June 13th. Swimmers will need to arrive at home meets by 4:30 pm and at away meets by 5:00pm. All meets start promptly at 6:00pm.
Sometimes weather interferes with the swim meet. The coaches will text all parents if a swim meet will be cancelled. If the Tuesday meet is cancelled due to inclement weather, the meet will be held the next day, Wednesday at the same time and location. If the meet can’t be completed on that Wednesday, the TSA representatives from both teams will decide on the proper outcome of the meet. Once a swim meet has started in order for it to count as complete both teams must have completed races for Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke, in that order. If the breaststroke has not been completed and the swim meet must be ended due to inclement weather, the meet is not considered complete. Swimmers will need to return the next day, Wednesday to finish the meet.
