Parents, the success of our swim team is not a miracle, it depends on the dedication and commitment of our parent community. Many of our existing board members have served for several years but as their swimmers age out it’s imperative we welcome in the next wave of board members to keep the Hammerheads swim team growing strong for years to come! The most critical position that is currently open is TSA elect. This person assists the current TSA representative with the expectation that this person will become the next TSA Representative in the 2023season.

We also need to train volunteers in the following positions:

Starter: Jeff Miller will be the starter for our Time Trials meet on June 7th. If you think you may like to learn more about being a starter, please come prepared to shadow Jeff during this meet and he can give you on the spot live training throughout the evening.

There are also in person TSA clinics that you can attend on Saturday June4thfrom 10-11am at the University Club 4200 Hillsboro Street Raleigh.

Stroke and Turn Judge: If you want to learn more about how to become a Stroke and Turn Judge, please contact us and we will put you in touch with our current stroke and Turn Judges Shelley Olson and Ronel Bezuidenhout. It is really easy to become certified and there are a number of opportunities to attend a clinic to become certified. The dates are as follows:
